Not Me, Monday…

I can’t believe it’s already Monday again!  I just KNOW that time didn’t pass this quickly when I was a kid.  Believe it or not, it was a slow week for me, but a few others in the family had some ”not me” moments that I will share…

When my daughter asked her two and a half year old daughter, Maddie, why did she keeps pooping in her pants, Maddie did not reply “I just can’t like pooping in the potty!”

My youngest son did not run out of water at his house while taking a shower at 11:30 pm…have to dress, go outside to the “pump house”, and work on the pump–in the dark– with only a flashlight–only to have a crucial pump piece fall apart in his hands and land in the dirt…did I mention this was at 11:30 at night??? Did I mention he gets up about 5:30 a.m.???

No, I did not look outside of my window one hot and sunny afternoon this week and see my grandaughter, Maddie, in her kiddie pool–along with her mother AND her father…did I mention this was a kiddie pool???  It was a real kodak moment, but I resisted the temptation…

No, my thin middle son didn’t come outside (wearing his not as thin father’s shorts) to get in the pool and BLIND us with his “whiteness”…and no, I didn’t tell him that his 6 month baby had a better tan than he did….to which he replied “that may be the quote of the week!”  And no, he didn’t grab a swim ring and get into the pool that is 24 inches deep….gotta’ love him!

No, we didn’t have a Fourth of July cookout and have THREE different fans blowing in the yard…one of which must’ve been five feet in diameter and would blow the hair right off of your head….talk about a MEGA fan!!!  It filled up the back of a pickup truck!

And last but not least, no, I didn’t run out of my precious hormone replacement capsules– on a holiday weekend….those capsules which keep me happy and balanced–which in turn keeps those close to me happy–no, not me!!!  Thank goodness it’s FINALLY Monday!
