Tuesday’s Blog Hop–Christmas in Pictures

Family Photo Christmas 2009

We usually try to take at least one family photo per year, but I believe that this may be the first family photo ever taken at Christmas!  Everyone was required to put on a funny hat or antlers before the picture!  We’re a funny looking bunch for sure!

Siamese Gift Wrapping

Our family always plays a couple of games on Christmas Eve.  This year we tried our hand at Siamese Gift Wrapping.  Two people had to work together to wrap a present–using only one hand each!  The photo above is of our son, Brad, and his girlfriend Jennifer trying their hand at Siamese Gift Wrapping.

Madison and Santa Claus

This picture of Madison(our grandaughter)and Santa Claus is one of the highpoints of Christmas 2009.  This is the first Christmas that Madison hasn’t been terrified of Santa!  You would never know that from looking at this photograph…

Cade with his new tricycle

Our grandson, Cade,  got a new tricycle for Christmas.  It’s one of those new “grow with me” toys.  It has a safety seat and a long handle on the back of it,  so his parents can push him until he gets old enough to ride on his own.  He sure seemed to enjoy riding up and down the hall on Christmas Day…

Thanks for hopping by to share some of our Christmas memories in photographs…I can’t wait until I learn how to edit my photographs with my new Photoshop software–maybe by Valentine’s Day–no make that Easter!  Have a great day!

  2. That does look like a fun game, I’ll have to keep that in mind.

I like your new background. Did you do it yourself?

    • Ruth, thanks for the comment and compliment! No, I didn’t do the blog background myself–I wish! I just chose a new wordpress template. I was tired of looking at the same thing, and figured readers may be tired of it also. A little change to start out the new year with…That Siamese gift wrap game was fun, and interesting! We timed everyone, in addition to judging the best wrapped gift. Thanks so much for being a reader and commenter, I appreciate your input so much. Have a Happy New Year! Blessings to you, Kathy

  3. Enjoyed your site, especially pix of little one on new tricycle. Found your site through blog hop christmas pics. i am an extreme newbie. When I pasted in code, it put a bunch of text in addition to list of links. i like they way yours is. How do you do that? i also like your comment form requiring name. How do you do that?

If no time for mentoring a technologically dysfunctional blogger wannabe, i will understand! Happy New Year.

    • Thanks so much for your comment. I am 55 and not very tech savy myself. I just use a wordpress template that’s premade. LOL I have a son that helps me occasionally, but he’s recently met a girl, so he’s too busy for me these days! As for the comment form, I don’t do anything, it’s part of the wordpress template. I just started blogging in April–still learning myself! Happy New Year to you, too! Kathy
