Share It With You Sunday…Maybe

Maybe we were supposed to meet the wrong person before meeting the right one…so when we finally meet the right person, we’ll know how to be grateful for the gift…

Maybe when the door of happiness closes, another opens, but sometimes we look so long at the closed-door, that we don’t see the new one opening for us…

Maybe it’s true that we don’t know what we have until it’s lost, but it’s also true that we don’t know what we’ve been missing until it arrives…

Maybe the happiest people don’t have the best of everything, but instead make the best of everything they have…

Maybe the brightest future will be based on a forgotten past,  it’s difficult to go on successfully in life until you let go of your past failures, mistakes, and heartaches…

Maybe you should dream what you want to dream, go where you want to go, and be all you want to be, because you only have one life, and one chance to do all these things…

Maybe the best kind of friend is one you can sit on a porch and swing with, never say a word, then walk away feeling like it was the best conversation that you’ve ever had…

Maybe you should do something nice for someone everyday, even if it’s to simply leave them alone…

Maybe you should put yourself in another’s shoes.  If it feels hurtful to you, it will probably feel hurtful to someone else…

Maybe you should hope for enough happiness to make you sweet, enough trials to make you strong, enough sorrow to keep you human, and enough hope to make you happy…

Maybe you should live your life to the fullest.  When you were born, you were crying, while everyone else around you was smiling…If you live a full life, when you die, you can be the one smiling, while everyone else around you is crying…

*Thanks to my friend, Cindy, who shared these thoughts with me through an email.

  1. What a fantastic post!! I truly love the last one and it is sure something to strive for every day. 🙂 Hope you are having a fantastic Sunday.

  2. Wow, thanks for sharing those simple yet profound thoughts!

  3. Those were very good. When working with the baby lost mothers I am always amazed at the comments that people make to them, they can be so hurtful. I often wish more people would be able to put themselves in their shoes to actually feel their pain.
